The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has congratulated the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, on the occasion of his 41st birthday.
The Emir described the Speaker as a vibrant, visionary, and committed leader whose contributions to legislative governance and youth development have continued to impact Kwara State positively.
In a goodwill message issued on Sunday through his spokesman, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona, the Emir commended Danladi-Salihu for demonstrating maturity, loyalty, and leadership capacity in steering the affairs of the State Assembly.
He noted that the Speaker has played a significant role in fostering a harmonious relationship between the legislature and other arms of government, thereby contributing to the peace, stability, and development of the state.
“At 41, the Speaker has already written his name in gold as a symbol of hope for the younger generation. His leadership style reflects wisdom, humility, and dedication to the ideals of public service,” the Emir stated.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari further praised the Speaker’s commitment to promoting pro-people legislation, supporting initiatives that improve the welfare of citizens, and championing peace and unity across Kwara State.
The royal father urged the Speaker to remain steadfast in his service to humanity and sustain his people-oriented leadership style while continuing to represent the Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State with distinction at both state and national levels.
On behalf of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, the Emir prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the Speaker long life, sound health, greater wisdom, and divine guidance as he continues to serve the people.
