The Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, has congratulated Mariam Eniola Bolaji, a proud product of Kwara State, on her outstanding victory at the 2025 Spanish Para Badminton International II in Vitoria.
Mogaji made the statement today, 9th of March, 2025 in Ilorin, Kwara State immediately the announcement of the victory.
Bolaji, a Paralympic bronze medalist and multiple African champion, continued her dominance on the global stage by clinching gold in the women’s singles SL3 category. She defeated Ukraine’s Oksana Kozyba 2-0 (21-15, 21-15) in the final, marking her 11th consecutive international triumph.
Mallam Mogaji praised the Kwara-born athlete for her unwavering dedication and consistency, describing her as the “golden queen of Kwara sports” and a shining inspiration for young athletes.
“Mariam Eniola Bolaji has once again made Kwara and Nigeria proud. Her consistency and resilience continue to place her among the best in the world. She remains the celebrated face of Kwara sports, and we are confident that she will achieve even greater success,” Mogaji stated.
