Today, the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, has congratulated Alhaji Owolabi Agbaje Wopa on his election as the Vice President of the Aquatic (Swimming) Federation of Nigeria.
Mallam Mogaji, in his congratulatory message issued in Ilorin, described Alhaji Wopa’s emergence as a well-deserved recognition of his unwavering commitment, leadership, and passion for sports development in Kwara State and Nigeria at large.
He noted that Alhaji Wopa’s vast experience as a former Vice Chairman of Kwara United Football Club and an active sports administrator will be of immense value in advancing the growth of aquatic sports across the country.
“This achievement is a testament to your dedication and passion for sports development. We are confident that your leadership will bring significant progress to canoeing and swimming in Kwara State and beyond,” Mallam Mogaji stated.
The Sports Commission Executive Chairman further wished Alhaji Wopa a successful tenure, expressing optimism that his new role will open greater opportunities for athletes and strengthen Kwara’s reputation as a hub for sporting excellence.
