The Mogaji of Sports: Engineer Adeyemi Praises Bola Mogaji’s Leadership in Sports
Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun (ENACT), a board member representing the North Central zone at the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), has commended AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for his administration’s commitment to sports and youth development in Kwara State.
Engineer Adeyemi made the remarks on Saturday, February 15, 2026, during the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) encounter between Kwara United and Kano Pillars at the Rashidi Yekini Mainbowl, George Agbazika Innih Stadium, Ilorin. He spoke while exchanging pleasantries with the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Bolakale Adisa Mogaji.
According to him, the achievements recorded in the sports sector under the present administration deserve collective support.
“We have no option but to support the enormous efforts of His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, especially in sports development. That was why I decided to personally support football lovers and fans of Kwara United. I strongly believe fans play a vital role in the success of any football club,” Engineer Adeyemi said.
He added that he has closely followed sports development in Kwara State over the years and expressed satisfaction with the visible transformation witnessed under the current administration.
Engineer Adeyemi further praised the state government for sustained investment in sports and other critical sectors, while lauding Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji for what he described as purposeful leadership that is steadily reshaping the image of sports in Kwara State.
“Thank you, the Mogaji of Sports. I also promise to continue supporting our sports-loving governor,” he concluded.
In his response, Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji appreciated Engineer Adeyemi for his consistent support of the administration and the sports sector. He assured stakeholders that the Kwara State Sports Commission would remain committed to advancing sports development across the state.
Several notable personalities were also present at the stadium, including Alibaba AbdulRazaq, Baba Okanla, Dele Abubakar Seleto (MON), Abdullahi Yunusa Lade, Jerry Kolo, Suleiman Sai-Kai, and Olaide Ahli, among others.
