Former Kwara United Technical Adviser, Kabir Dogo, has been appointed as the new Technical Adviser of Niger Tornadoes ahead of the 2026/2027 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, which is scheduled to kick off next month.
Speculation about Dogo’s appointment began after photographs of him with Niger Tornadoes surfaced online. The development was later confirmed by the coach in an interview with Pristinegist Online Media, where he disclosed that he had officially joined the Minna-based club and was unveiled on Tuesday, July 1, 2026.
Despite his new appointment, Dogo remains committed to his current responsibilities with El-Kanemi Warriors. He is expected to lead the Maiduguri-based side in the final of the 2025/2026 President Federation Cup before fully taking charge at Niger Tornadoes.
Dogo brings a wealth of experience to Niger Tornadoes, having previously managed several NPFL clubs, including Kwara United, and will be expected to strengthen the team’s fortunes in the upcoming campaign.
