NAIROBI, KENYA: Kwara-born Scrabble sensation, Yusuf Abdulsalam, has emerged as the Best Kid of the Tournament at the ongoing 2026 World Scrabble Youth Championship in Nairobi, Kenya.
The young Nigerian star delivered an outstanding performance against some of the best young Scrabble players from around the world to achieve the remarkable feat.
Yusuf’s success is another major moment for Kwara State and Nigeria, showcasing the growing impact of the state’s investment in sports and youth development.
The achievement also comes with appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, for sponsoring the young talent and for his unwavering investment in sports development across the state.
