Beneficiaries and residents of Warah Osin/Egbejila Ward have expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Majority Leader of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Barr. Oba AbdulKadri Magaji, for extending his Cash Support Scheme to vulnerable members of the community.
The beneficiaries, comprising widows and elderly people, received financial assistance during the 20th phase of the empowerment programme held on Thursday at the Okutagidi Open Space, Ile Baba Magaji, Daudu Community, Warah Osin/Egbejila Ward.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, several recipients described the initiative as timely and impactful, noting that the financial support would go a long way in helping them meet their daily needs amid the current economic challenges.
They praised Hon. Oba Magaji for consistently demonstrating compassion and commitment to the welfare of his constituents, adding that his regular intervention has brought relief to many vulnerable families across the wards in Ilorin Central Local Government Area.
Community leaders and residents of Warah Osin/Egbejila Ward also commended the lawmaker for ensuring that the ward benefited from the programme. They described him as a leader who prioritizes the welfare of his people through meaningful and people-oriented initiatives.
According to them, the continuous implementation of the cash support scheme reflects Hon. Magaji’s dedication to inclusive representation and grassroots development.
The beneficiaries offered prayers for the Majority Leader, asking God to grant him good health, wisdom, and greater opportunities to continue serving humanity. They also pledged their continued support for his efforts to improve the lives of the people.
The Cash Support Scheme, now in its 20th phase, is one of Hon. Oba AbdulKadri Magaji’s flagship social intervention programmes aimed at providing financial assistance to widows, the elderly, and other vulnerable groups across the wards he represents.
