Former Kwara United coach and Mogaji Odo-Okun of Ilorin Emirate, Coach Kabir Dogo, has guided El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri to victory in the 2025/2026 President Federation Cup.
The experienced tactician capped his one-year spell with the Maiduguri-based club in remarkable fashion as El-Kanemi Warriors defeated their opponents 1-0 in the final played at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
The decisive goal came in the 17th minute from a penalty kick, securing the prestigious title and a continental ticket for El-Kanemi Warriors.
Coach Kabir Dogo, who joined the club in 2025 on a one-year contract, leaves the team as a champion after reports emerged that he has signed a three-year deal with Niger Tornadoes ahead of the new Nigeria Premier Football League season.
