The Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Coach Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, alongside a member of the Central Committee of the Sardauna Turbaning Ceremony, Dr. Funsho AbdulRazaq, has unveiled specially branded T-shirts and polo shirts ahead of the historic turbaning ceremony of the Sardauna of Ilorin.
The ceremony will witness the conferment of the prestigious title of Sardauna of Ilorin on the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, by the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR.
The turbaning ceremony is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at the Emir’s Palace in Ilorin.
The branded T-shirts and polo shirts, which are expected to add colour and unity to the historic occasion, were sponsored by the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Coach Bolakale Adisa Mogaji.
The gesture further demonstrates Coach Mogaji’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote unity, tradition, culture and the collective identity of the people of Kwara State.
