The Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly and APC Governorship Candidate, Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, has charged players and supporters of Kwara United F.C. to remain united and determined ahead of the club’s crucial encounter against Bayelsa United F.C. in Yenagoa.
In a goodwill message released on Sunday 24th of May 2026 on his social media platforms, Danladi-Salihu described the match as a defining moment for the Harmony Boys, noting that victory would secure the club’s Nigeria Premier Football League status for next season.
He expressed confidence in the team’s ability to deliver under pressure. He urged the players to approach the encounter with courage, discipline, and the fighting spirit that Kwara United is known for.
The APC governorship candidate also called on supporters traveling to Yenagoa to cheer passionately for the team, while encouraging fans back home to continue offering prayers and moral support.
According to him, unity and collective support remain vital as the club battles to finish the season on a positive note.

Kwara United F.C. will face Bayelsa United F.C. today at 4pm Nigerian time in a decisive fixture expected to determine the club’s survival in the NPFL.
